Kate’s wellness journey first began as a yoga student in 2006. Her sister, and fellow yoga instructor Karrie, encouraged her to take a class with her and Kate never stopped!
In 2011, Kate began her Pilates journey. She loved how Pilates gave her a better understanding of her core and accented her yoga practice. And in 2013, she decided to share yoga with others by completing a 200-hour Yoga Certification.
During her husband, Derek's cancer treatment Kate relied on her yoga and Pilates training to best support him mentally, spiritually, and physically.
Kate loves to keep things fun and encouraging, while challenging people to do their best. Her private clients appreciate the energetic space she creates for them during their sessions.
When she’s not at the studio teaching or coming up with one of her creative lesson plans, she’s either with her two dogs, Lucy & Gracie, or out on a hiking trail, traveling the world.
Kate is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher and is a Graduate of the Balanced Body Comprehensive program.

Kate will customize a fitness training experience that is tailored to your needs and individual goals. Offering a fully private studio space at Core Crown Point, or within your home, Kate creates a safe and comfortable environment for clients of all ages, levels, and mobility.
Kate makes sure that the exercises and movements we are doing are appropriate for my goals and are challenging enough that I feel like I’m always working toward my next goal.
Kate has helped show me what my body can do as opposed to what it can’t. She’s helped me appreciate my body for the work that it does, and it’s changed the way I feel when I see myself in the mirror.

Kate's Cancer Coaching Program for mental and physical wellness can begin at any point throughout your cancer journey, both in active treatment and survivorship. Each program is customized to the individual's personal goals and timelines.
